Digital orthopan

Orthopantomogram (abbreviated orthopan) is a 2D X-ray of all teeth of the upper and lower jaw and surrounding bones and provides insight into oral health and helps determine the therapeutic procedure.

In our institution we use the most modern technology and devices in order to provide patients with top service in one place. The device provides a wide range of images with a much reduced radiation dose. Prior to recording, the patient is protected with a protective apron to minimize the effects of radiation, and each digital recording is issued on a CD.

Digital dental imaging enables: speed, comfort and economy, obtaining an image on a CD, archive in our institution, the possibility of increasing the details, which enables more precise diagnostics and the possibility of simulating planned additional structures (eg implants)
